William Morris (1834-1896) was the son of a successful businessman, born on 24th March 1834 in Walthamstow a small village to the east of London. He was educated at Marlborough and Exeter College, Oxford. Later he formed, Morris, Marshall, Faulkner & Co.

The William Morris Collection
The following tiles are authentic reproduction tiles designed by William Morris and are ideal for general wall use or as fireplace tiles. He first used these floral designs in his 1862 'Daisy' wallpaper design. The motifs were modified for use on tiles in the 1870s.
